Description
Each harvest (2020, 2022 and 2023) has been very different. For the year 2023 the grapes came from a plot right next to olive and sour cherry trees, it was an especially hot summer and though the harvest was 10 days earlier, the resulting wine has almost one degree more of alcohol. The wine was blended with 5% Carignan.

Viticulture
The vineyards are planted on gentle slopes of the hills of the Coastal Range, less than a kilometer away from the Maule River. They receive minimum intervention and produce low yields. There are olive trees, sour cherry trees, and asparagus and fennel shrubs in between them. They are also next to some of the last native forest in the area. The grapes where picked on February 28th, it was a specially hot summer.
Vinification
This wine is from 95% País grapes, blended with 5% Carignan before bottling. The extraction of tannins was very careful; with gentle punch downs and relatively low fermentation temperatures. The wine was aged in three old French oak barrels for five months before bottling (only 775 bottles made!).
