Description
Tribute to our italian tradition and experience. This variety of Tuscan origin owes its name to the Latin term "Sanguis Jovis", which means "Blood of Jupiter". Our 100% Sangiovese wine with 12 to 14 months of aging in French oak barrels, is a faithful representation of TerraMater: Chilean terroir, Italian tradition as the founding family came from Italy. Deep and intense red colour with violet tones. Mainly ripe red fruits and red blueberry on the nose. Candied ripe fruits with toasted touches that comes from the barrel. Good natural acidity and soft tannins.

Viticulture
Vines between 20 to 30 years old. From clay loam deep colluvial soil and a mediterranean climate. Harvest was made in a season that was characterized by high temperatures during months of January and February. The harvest took place two weeks before but good maturity and tannins were obtained in the grape.
Vinification
Fermentation: Traditional with selected yeasts. No filtering. 12 to 14 months of ageing in french oak barrels of first and second use. Good ageing potential.
