Description
Altum represents the highest in quality of the vineyards, the highest in experience and greatness of the Maipo Valley. Altum in Latin is a word used to describe the high and distinguished, being the virtue of our wine. This wine highlights the unique characteristics of our most exclusive block of Cabernet Sauvignon identified by our winemakers over the years, of vines of more than 70 years old, with an aging process of 16 months in french oak barrels of first use. Very intense ruby red colour. Cassis and fruity notes mixed with toasted from the barrel. Elegant and round mouth, firm tannins.

Viticulture
Vines located in Isla de Maipo, very close to the Maipo River. Vines of 70 years old, with yields of approx. 8 ton/ha. Barracks located at the foot of Cerro Lonquén, a field sector with alluvial, deep and well-drained soils.
Vinification
Fermentation: Traditional with selected yeasts, ZYMAFLORE FX10. Without filter. They are vinified in the traditional way with cold maceration for around 7 to 10 days and then aging in barrels for approximately 16 months.
