T.H. Syrah Leyda 2021

This Syrah has pronounced herbal character and great complexity as a result of the cool climate. It is very fresh and expressive, with intense notes of bay leaves, black pepper, liquorice, India ink and tar, along with fresh red fruit aromas like raspberries, redcurrants and wild berries. The fruitiness is more pronounced on the palate and the mid-palate is tense, vibrant and spicy. This energetic and lively wine has chunky tannins, zesty acidity and a firm structure. The finish is elegant and long. Great ageing potential.
