Description
The vintage characteristics caused this Carmenère to be fresh, with the herbal notes that are typical of the variety but with fruitier character. The nose is elegant and expressive with a fruit profile dominated by raspberries, fresh strawberries and hints of blackberries, along with the black and white pepper notes typically found in this variety. The oak-ageing has also contributed notes of dark chocolate and hints of bay leaf. This is a smooth, rounded, harmonious and balanced wine with Carmenère typicity.
