Errazuriz Villa Don Maximiano 2018

The 2018 vintage of Villa Don Maximiano has a deep ruby red colour with a violet hue. The nose of this wine is very intense, with floral aromas such as violets and lavender accompanied by fresh blueberries and a light note of blackcurrant leaves. On the palate, the fresh red fruit recalls sour cherries, a bit of blackcurrants, and a light roasted note, cacao, and cloves. This is a fresh and linear wine with excellent tension as well as a broad entry and tannins that are firm but with a good expansion on the palate that lends the sensation of structure and silkiness.
