Tara

Tara is a special project from the Atacama Desert. The vineyards are the furthest northern commercial winery in Chile and the only comercial wines coming out of the Atacama Desert. This product is the demonstration of extreme winemaking, with salty soils, no rain (driest desert on earth) and with incredibly strong winds due to the proximity to the pacific ocean. This means very low yields, and challenges the winemakers each year to work with the vines. These wines are made naturally, pressed by feet and bottled by hand.
